job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in a med / surg telemetry oncology unit within a hospital setting Care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and chemotherapy administration Patient population includes individuals with soft tissue malignancies, comorbidities, and those needing intensive symptom management Nursing ratio is 1 : 4 Uses B450 monitors, GE telemetry system, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds Night shift schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts (19 : 00-07 : 30) Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity Oncology experience is preferred but not required for this role Heavy emphasis on infection prevention protocols and patient falls management Responsibilities include managing comorbidities and symptom management related to disease progression or treatment Specialized training and onboarding will be provided as needed Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for over 6 months; current employees are not eligible as travelers Locals are accepted at the same pay rate All time-off requests must be disclosed prior to assignment confirmation Fingerprinting for Ohio is required as soon as contract is signed Active OH or compact state RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BCLS certification required EPIC EMR experience required Ability to interpret dysrhythmias, manage arterial and central lines, perform IV starts, access ports, manage PICC lines, administer blood products, assist with chest tube procedures, operate high-flow nasal cannula, interpret ABGs Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or formal leadership role High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
