Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate teams effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Lead and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and financial goals.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
• Responsible for the financial monitoring and settlement of the projects.
• Supervise the executive staff, ensuring they are qualified to perform the work.
• Responsible for the work planning and coordination for projects, ensuring work is carried out according to quality criteria.
• Manage the entire implementation process from the takeover of work preparation to delivery.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7 am to 4 pm. Work sites are located in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Work will be split between the company's headquarters and worksite locations. The company emphasizes training and development, with room for growth as the company expands.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
