LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting our client in the southwest suburbs with a search for a payroll specialist. The payroll specialist role is onsite and temporary to hire. The payroll specialist will ensure payroll is processed accurately and meets deadline requirements.

Responsibilities :

Process hourly and salary payroll

Ensure state and federal law requirements for accurate payroll

Multi state payroll

Verify hours and deductions for accuracy

Update any employee files as well as additions or terminations

Assist employees with payroll questions

Research and resolve discrepancies

Assist with payroll reporting

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience

Familiarity with payroll software and laws

Accuracy and deadline driven

Comfortable with intermediate Microsoft Excel

Pay : $27-$31 / hour

Pay Details : $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
