Summary

Hand Arendall Harrison Sale has a wonderful opportunity for an entry level IT technician in our Birmingham office. Performs all functions according to established policies and procedures, related to receiving calls from attorneys, managers, staff and vendors and directs them to the appropriate individual(s) within the IT Department. Maintains contact with attorneys, staff and clients and observes confidentiality of client and firm matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

"Essential functions" are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.

• Receives and responds to all Help Desk calls. Solves the caller's question or problem – or refers the caller or problem to the correct IT employee for resolution.
• Returns all Help Desk calls in a timely manner.
• Documentation of all regularly performed tasks.
• Responsible for the configuration, installation and regular maintenance of all desktop and laptop computers.
• Responsible for performing server configuration, support and backups on the firm business servers.
• Responsible for helping support the firm's technology infrastructure, including but not limited to : telephones, computers, network, copiers and printers, audio and video equipment, servers and PDA / Cell phone devices.

Working Conditions
