job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDeliver courteous, timely support to end users; log and track all work in the ticketing system Administer and troubleshoot local infrastructure : hypervisors, switches, routers / firewalls, backup servers Support endpoint hardware / software using best practices; collaborate with peers / management on complex issues Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, peripherals, and standard software images Serve as escalation point for L1 and as a de-escalation bridge to L3 Act as technical lead on select local / regional initiatives and acquisitions Participate daily in the L2 support queue and contribute to knowledge articles / runbooks 1–5 years in an end-user facing technical support or systems / admin role Experience supporting distributed / remote users preferred Associate degree in a computer-related field; bachelor’s preferred (relevant certs considered) Comfortable with core infra concepts : virtualization, switching, routing / firewalls, backups Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and ticket hygiene; clear written and verbal communication Team-oriented, coachable, and proactive about asking for help when needed Able to support users with varied skill levels, work independently or on a project team, make sound decisions under pressure, and spot trends to recommend preventive improvements Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
