Director of Finance and Accounting

A company is looking for a Director of Finance & Accounting to oversee its finance function, including accounting operations and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute all financial tasks and projects, including monthly close and board reporting

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining a robust general ledger and preparing financial analyses

Own financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to deliver timely information to leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred

8+ years of experience in accounting and FP&A, with ownership of monthly close and budget processes

Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal controls, with experience in audits and tax coordination

Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis skills

Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and modern finance systems
