- Role Overview Alkemy X is seeking a highly motivated and creative intern to aid our Visual Effects Business Development team in expanding Alkemy X’s creative footprint in the global entertainment visual effects industry.
- Our superstar intern will be responsible for helping to research leads and opportunities, crafting outreach, setting meetings, and brainstorming ideas and strategies that support Alkemy X’s Visual Effects Department Business Development initiatives.
- Through the process, through this internship you will be exposed to how a global creative production and visual effects company wins new projects and manages its pipeline development.
- This internship will work closely with the Business Development and creative teams to develop messaging and outreach strategies.
- This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a demonstrated interest in the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential leads — e.g. production companies, visual effects supervisors, post houses, agencies, studio contacts, etc. Build and maintain outreach templates (cold email templates, LinkedIn messages, follow-ups) tailored for Entertainment / VFX prospects Send outreach daily (email, LinkedIn, or other channels) and track open / reply / conversion metrics Manage a CRM (or spreadsheet pipeline) — input lead data, status, next steps, and notes Help qualify leads (gather basic company info, budgets, decision-makers) Support proposals or pitch materials as needed — pulling together company background, past case studies, showreels Monitor industry news, trade publications, social media for potential business leads and motion picture / TV announcements Provide weekly status reports :
