General Summary
Leads the development and implementation of clinical workflows and operational policies for nursing and medical assistant teams across all Medical Group clinics. Responsible for the execution of standardized care practices, competency management, and quality reporting. Owns clinical policy, standards, and team-based care strategy across the ambulatory system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, or related field required. Master of Nursing, Health Care Administration or Business preferred. Must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting body of standards and requirements. Knowledge of national and industry trends impacting healthcare in general and the respective Division specifically.
Work Experience
Minimum of five years healthcare experience including experience with operational and strategic aspects of healthcare services required. Experience in specialties represented within the Division. Experience with initiatives unique to the Division. Management experience required. Experience with medical group and physicians required.
Certification / License
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential preferred. Valid motor vehicle operating license required. Commitment for continuing education required.
Mental / Physical Requirements
Considerable mental concentration. Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications. Extended mental concentration on variable projects. Work is generally sedentary with need to travel to other areas of the hospital. Some lifting and carrying may be required for objects under 25 pounds.
Working Conditions
Ability to work in a fast paced office, meeting multiple deadlines, and the ability to set priorities. Interaction with various individuals of the department and hospital. Environment of changing regulatory requirements for agency operations.
