Overview

The Senior Immigration Advisor I reports directly to a regional Immigration Manager and works as an integral member of the Global team assisting with case preparation and management for all clients in the designated region.

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle complex or high-sensitive cases
• Continue to increase knowledge in immigration matters including case management, begin gaining knowledge in client requests related to initiations and queries
• Assist with mentoring or advising junior Advisors with case strategy / communications
• Assist in preparation and training of Global staff based on expertise with ability to confidently provide advice to Attorneys, managers, and other legal staff in the firm
• Participate in projects and / or committees related to the area of expertise, including but not limited to, firm-wide / program practices, internal database improvements, etc
• Assist with enforcing BAL policies / procedures / protocols to ensure program's streamlined practices are observed.
• Begin assisting with various projects for continued improvement of Global program or BAL practices alongside senior / leadership
• Complete other related duties as assigned and support the firm
