Job Highlights

Pay : Competitive, based on experience and skill level

Shifts :

Day Shift : 5 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Night Shift : 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM

Schedule : Rotating 12-hour shifts (full-time)

Location : Houston, TX

Responsibilities

Operate CNC or manual machines to produce precision components according to production specifications

Review work orders and verify part quantities for accuracy

Perform part inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges

Read and interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and part quality

Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or deviations to the setup machinist or supervisor

Maintain accurate production and inspection records in data collection systems

Follow all safety and PPE requirements while keeping a clean and organized workstation

Stay within defined production times, part compliance, and rework targets

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

At least 1 year of manufacturing or machining experience preferred

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently (and up to 100 lbs with assistance)

Comfortable standing for extended periods (12 hours per shift)

Understanding of G & M programming preferred

Basic computer skills and ability to follow production requirements
