Position Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.

Employment details : Full Time; Shift : 1st Shift; Schedule : Monday - Friday, 5 : 00am - 1 : 30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Entering data into inventory database about quantities of issued and transferred parts and inventory
  • Resolving inventory shortage discrepancies
  • Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issuing out to upcoming jobs
  • Consolidating manufactured parts to maximize shelf space
  • Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency
  • Identifying parts through the use of SAP and drawings
  • Auditing locations for part and count accuracy (e.g., work order and 3-Stage put away checks)
  • Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
  • Monitoring and keeping an updated shortage list available for the Inventory Management team
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office
  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Light work capacity; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds; typical of sedentary to light work
  • Kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, standing, walking as needed
  • Fingering, talking, hearing, and visual acuity requirements for data entry and inspection
