Overview
Director of Analytics role at Assembly Health , based in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
What you will do
- Analytics Strategy & Execution
Lead strategic initiatives focused on healthcare revenue cycle analytics, including internal dashboards and client-facing reporting tools.
Identify trends in healthcare claim data and accounts receivable metrics to inform business decisions and operational improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics aligned with RCM performance goals.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and appropriate methodologies across all deliverables.Product Development & Stakeholder EngagementOwn the end-to-end development of analytics products, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and rollout.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings with internal teams and external partners to drive consensus on analytical outputs and product design.Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment across engineering, operations, and client services.Manage multiple analytics projects, ensuring timelines, scopes, and deliverables are met.Support adhoc analyses based on business need and client requirements.Provide insight and guidance on decisions related to analytics technology, tools, and platform.Team Leadership & GovernanceManage a team of analysts, providing mentorship, prioritization, and performance oversight.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.Ensure adherence to data governance standards and promote best practices in data quality and integrity.Serve as the analytics product owner, maintaining data accuracy, access controls, and training resources.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Health Informatics).5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably within a healthcare RCM company or MSO.Prior experience managing analytics projects or small teams.Strong understanding of healthcare claims, AR metrics, and payer-provider workflows.Proficiency in modern data visualization tools and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL and relational databases.Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated effectiveness in navigating ambiguous or evolving environments.Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly.
