O6 Environmental is looking for a strong Human Resources Manager to oversee the Company's recruitment efforts, employee benefits, performance management and employee training & development. O6 Environmental has over 150 employees across its six offices and various project sites that the Human Resources Manager would be responsible for.
This individual will have significant freedom and must be self-driven as there will not be day-to-day oversight. We are excited to continue growing the Company and are looking forward to hiring the next leader at O6 Environmental.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assess the business' personnel needs and address those needs through an effective recruitment strategy
- Manage existing employee benefits with the workforce and benefits vendors
- Benchmark compensation and benefits to ensure the Company continues to be a leader within its industry
- Develop and implement performance management systems across all departments to systematize the process for all employees
- Guide managers actions so they can effectively motivate and coach their employees
- Track all employee trainings, certifications, and accreditations and proactively interact with workforce to maintain compliance
- Create internal trainings to promote best practices throughout the organization
- Mediate any workforce disputes or challenges
- On-board new employees so they understand the culture and have the tools to be successful in their role
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws
- Assist with payroll compliance when employees are working in different states
- Be the day-to-day resource for workforce issues across the company
- Promote the O6 Environmental culture on a daily basis
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 5 years of human resources experienceDemonstrated experience recruiting and managing a disparate workforceSelf-motivated and proven ability to operate without day-to-day guidanceExemplary leadership skillsSuperior interpersonal communication skillsEager to learn, and to teach / mentorProficient in Microsoft product suiteThis will be an on-site role in St. Louis, MO.
