Human Resources Coordinator (Birmingham)

Were looking for an organized, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the HR Director, this position plays a key role in supporting our employees across multiple states and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Youll handle payroll and timekeeping, assist employees with benefit enrollments, and be the go-to contact for day-to-day HR-related questions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some HR experience whos ready to take ownership of critical HR functions and grow into a broader operations role.

What You'll Do

• Process weekly payroll and ensure time & attendance records are accurate and complete
• Respond to employee questions about paychecks, timecards, and benefits
• Support new hire onboarding, including benefits enrollment and HRIS setup
• Maintain accurate employee data and files within the HRIS system
• Assist with benefit changes, carrier communication, and billing reconciliation
• Support compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies
• Collaborate with the HR Director on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
