The Global Energy team is comprised of three verticals : Global Energy Strategy (GES) which leads development of innovative commercial structures to meet capacity demand and our CFE glidepath to 2040; Power Generation Solutions (PGS) that serves as the single-threaded owner for AWS' power generation and energy engineering initiatives, delivering capacity-enabling solutions aligning with AWS' stringent availability, reliability, sustainability, and redundancy requirements, and manages the production readiness lifecycle of AWS-owned or commissioned power generation and energy storage assets; and Energy Portfolio Operations (EPO) which owns the portfolio of renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for all of Amazon, and CFE supply agreements for AWS. Global Energy partners closely with all regional data center planning and delivery teams, global sustainability, and other Amazon business units on energy procurement needs.

As the Senior Infrastructure TPM, you will report directly to Global Energy Head and partner closely with the Global Energy Principals, Sr. Engineering Manager PGS, and Sr. Mgr, Energy Portfolio Ops to set the near and long-term vision and direction for the team, and ensure alignment of this vision and direction with broader Data Center Planning & Delivery and Data Center Communities orgs. This includes (1) the various infrastructure drivers and metrics that impact headcount scaling; Further, as the Senior Infrastructure TPM, you will exercise deep expertise on the key inputs that affect divisional hiring performance and productivity, as well as related metrics that enable performance measurement in these areas. The Senior Infra TPM must earn trust with partner teams such as Finance and multiple deployment teams in order to expand mechanisms and strategies beyond Global Energy and ensure the full scope of needs are captured on behalf of the sub-division. In addition, as a key representative of the sub-division, the TPM must effectively interact with and earn trust from partners external to the sub-division, and in some cases, external to AWS. Such interactions may include arranging and facilitating off-site events with senior executives to advance initiatives, coordinating business activities with partners in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, and collaborating with partners external to AWS. Lastly, you will be an authority on operational guidance such as global expense policy, and remediation of policy and software risks.
