INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST II - 21166
The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to serve as Lead Developer providing a full range of complex professional and advisory functions in information technology (IT) web applications services supporting the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDoR). In this role, you will serve as a project coordinator for major / complex projects, analyze and recommend improvements to websites and web applications, and provide primary support for scheduled and remedial maintenance.
This position is a union position; therefore, provisions of the relevant collective bargaining agreement / labor contract apply to the filling of this position.
Essential Functions
- Under administrative direction, serves as a Lead Developer for DoIT supporting IDoR providing a full range of complex professional and advisory functions in IT web applications services.
- Serves as project / team leader on highly complex projects while independently planning, developing, and implementing techniques for gathering and interpreting data.
- Analyzes and recommends new procedures and techniques to improve supported websites and web applications.
- Serves as the primary support for scheduled and remedial maintenance to assigned websites and web applications.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college course work in computer science or a directly related field.Three (3) years of professional experience in Web Services or a related IT field.Specialized Skills
Three (3) years of professional experience as a SharePoint site administrator, managing websites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or another web content management system, including end-to-end site configuration, maintenance, and publishing.Three (3) years of professional experience designing and developing web applications using HTML, CSS, FormCalc, JavaScript, and JSON.Three (3) years of professional experience creating business process automation functions using tools such as LiveCycle / AEM Forms Designer and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).Preferred Qualifications
