Security Professional- Unarmed Commercial Patrol Full Time

As a Security Professional- Unarmed Commercial Patrol Full Time in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.37 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents and daily activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
