Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts supporting the Production Contracts lead for a critical and growing program area within our Naval Power, Naval Air Missiles (NAM) organization.
The successful applicant will lead new pursuits (proposals), as well as execution efforts (contracts). This role will be an integral part of the business teams, supporting strategic solutions and providing dynamic recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution issues. Specific focus will be driving for on-time proposal delivery, current contract execution. Developing and maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships will be required. The program is a complex, legacy missile franchise program that launches from ships, submarines, and ground launchers and can strike targets precisely from 1,000 miles away, even in heavily defended airspace with development, production, and sustainment activities interwoven. The portfolio includes FAR-based domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts with the US Navy (NAVAIR).
This position is well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills for sound team collaboration.
