Location : Rockville, MD

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks an Assistant Director, Department of Stateside Military Operations.

Specific Responsibilities Include :

• Monitor and evaluate employee productivity and performance through various channels, including observations in the employee's environment as it pertains to customer service and knowledge of the military programs.
• Create and evaluate statistics for strategic decision-making.
• Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of all military locations to include but not limited to National Testing Centers, Student Service centers, and military installations.
• Collaborate with the Director and make recommendations for individual and team training needs, opportunities, and business process improvements to ensure that department service levels and quality assurance standards are met.
• Develop and implement outreach campaigns to market UMGC programs and increase awareness within the military community.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Some evening, weekend hours and traveling is required to military sites as identified in the Western Region of UMGC operations.
