HR Manager

Workforce Solutions partners directly with teams looking to hire top talent. We are currently working with a family-owned manufacturing company looking for an HR Manager to manage their HR function for their Madison, WI location.

What's the role?

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human resources function for the company working closely with the executive team. This role will have oversight of all HR areas including payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and recruiting. An ideal candidate will be able to balance executing tactical HR work with accuracy while also making recommendations for strategy and department improvements to better the company.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

• Experience working as an HR Manager; experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is a plus.
• Experience processing payroll.
• Strong computer competency required in Microsoft Office for the ability to work within company software programs.
• Ability to always provide the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Extremely detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in all HR tasks.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are used in completing tasks.
• Handles a fast-paced environment and deadline pressures well, planning and carrying out responsibilities with minimal direction.
• Experience in a small business setting is a plus.

What will my schedule look like?

This salaried role generally works fully onsite during office hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p.
