Illinois Casualty Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to become part of our Beverage Insurance Specialty agency team! The CSR will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance with their insurance policies and inquiries. The CSR maintains these important client relationships and answers questions, resolves issues, and processes orders. This is a fast-paced role with growth opportunities available!
Salary Range : $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
Work Location : Hybrid schedule, must be able to commute to work onsite in Rock Island, IL multiple days per week
Hours : 37.5 hours per week (between 30 and 37.5 hours per week possible during initial training period)
Essential Functions
- Respond to customer inquiries by email, phone, or other communication platforms
- Assist customers with servicing insurance policies, coverage options, and billing questions
- Process orders, update customer accounts, and accurately document all interactions
- Resolve problems and complaints by identifying issues, researching solutions, and following up with customers to ensure resolution
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience in a customer service or customer-facing roleComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, experience with Vertafore / AMS 360 / customer account management systems preferredPrior experience in the insurance industry preferredPrior experience in a hybrid / remote work setting preferredBest in Class Benefits
