Job Summary
The Test Technician will manage, maintain, and troubleshoot testing equipment to support production line quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose, repair, and coordinate replacement for damaged testing instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers).
- Verify and calibrate new testing equipment, label with asset numbers, and log information in the system.
- Prepare and revalidate test samples based on customer requirements and production needs.
- Track spare parts usage, manage inventory, and handle procurement requests.
- Manage idle / damaged equipment, report for scrapping or reassignment, and coordinate inter-site transfers with necessary documentation.
- Support MES integration by providing hardware to production lines and ensuring system registration.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with financial audits.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or technical certification; Associate's degree in Electronics or related field preferred.Experience with equipment maintenance, calibration, and testing instruments.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and handle equipment as required.
