Development Director

As the Development Director , you will oversee the organization's mid-level, annual fundraising events. You will oversee grant writing and provide grant management, as well as provide supervision to members of the Development team.

Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri.

This Position :

We are interested in a Director with a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or a comparable field. We're interested in someone with at least 2-3 years of fund development / nonprofit fundraising experience and at least 1-2 years of management experience.

A valid driver's license - or the ability to obtain one - is required, as is the ability to travel locally.

This is a salaried position, starting at $63,000 / year.
