Event Manager
Compliance with all alcohol service policies for 100% compliance.
Assist in the management of catered events : start to finish, all communication with staff and guests.
Scheduling and labor allocation.
Analyze ticket sales, staffing needs, demographics, point-of sale to guest ratio.
Evaluate, identify purchasing patterns, and accurate cost of goods.
Point-of-sale system : financial reporting, tracking accountability, and commodity levels by location.
Assist in preparing future goals and maintaining all established quality standards are met.
Two (2) years' experience in the food & beverage industry.
Two (2) years' and / or a combination of experience : high-volume banquets, concessions, weddings, and events.
The ability to communicate with all employees and guests in a clear and professional manner to create a positive, enthusiastic, and work environment.
Able to work in a team, fast-paced, event-driven environment with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Familiar with inventory cost control and menu planning.
Well versed on all policy and procedures on sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service, and safety, etc.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
Ability to oversee cash accurately and responsibly.
MUST HAVE : Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding people skills, self-direction, strong and independent decision-making skills, ability to inspect the operation on a regular basis to ensure established quality standards are maintained.
