job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 12+ years of embedded software development experience, including leadership roles. Strong proficiency in C / C++ and experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux). Familiarity with digital signal processing, device drivers, and low-level programming. Experience with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet). Knowledge of IP networking, cryptography, and RF systems is a plus. Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers). Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Base pay range
$120,000.00 / yr - $150,000.00 / yr
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for real-time systems.
- Architect and implement software solutions for both new development and legacy systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and program management.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices across the software team.
- Troubleshoot complex embedded systems and support testing at offsite facilities.
- Participate in regular software team meetings and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
