Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Review vendor history prior to payment processing
- Track budget spending and AP tasks within facilities
- Addressing and documenting vendor disputes
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
- Process checks requests.
- Audit and process credit card bills
- 1099 maintenance
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month end closing.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
