Therapy Support Assistant - Outpatient Therapy Annex

Overview

Assists the Therapy Services staff with maintaining the facility. Oversee fitness center and independent access clients for pool. Therapy tech are not involved in direct patient care. They are also responsible for cleanliness of working area and equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Assists in checking in and supervising independent access clients, if applicable..

Maintains equipment and work environment in an organized manner in accordance with policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards.

Monitors delivery area daily for arrival of orders / supplies and stocks them in the appropriate location in a timely manner.

Provides support to clinical or office personnel according to legal standards and department guidelines.

Sanitizes equipment according to infection control policy and procedure and ensures maintenance of records.

Works with supply coordinator to maintain par levels of supplies necessary for daily clinical operation.

Department Specific Job Function

Checks daily temperatures for therapy equipment (hydrocollators, refrigerators, splint pan)

Stocks therapy supplies and linen

Cleans and sanitizes therapy equipment per guidelines

Monitors clients in therapy fitness center and pool

Provides initial orientation for new fitness center clients

Receives and tracks payment for facility use (fitness center and pool)

Schedules independent access appointments

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $15.53per hour - $25.16per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
