(Korean Bilingual) HR Generalist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support all aspects of human resources operations, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and training. This position requires business-level bilingual proficiency in Korean and English to effectively communicate with Korean-speaking employees and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and labor law compliance, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Serve as the main contact for HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
• Support employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment : job postings, screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Assist with audits, required HR reporting, and policy updates.
• Administer benefits programs and track leaves of absence (FMLA, STD, etc.).
• Coordinate training programs and maintain training documentation.
• Contribute to HR initiatives focused on process improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role. Bilingual in Korean and English – Required (business-level proficiency). Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS / payroll system experience preferred (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycom). HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus. High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
