Position Overview
The Conflicts Manager will lead the firm's conflicts team and oversee the identification, resolution, and management of potential conflicts of interest across all practice areas. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with ethical standards and maintaining the integrity of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the conflicts clearance process for new business, lateral hires, and ongoing matters.
- Supervise and mentor conflicts analysts and specialists.
- Review and analyze conflict reports using firm systems and databases.
- Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership to resolve complex conflict issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve conflicts processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ethics rules and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with integration of new technology and systems related to conflicts and intake.
- Provide training and guidance to attorneys and staff on conflicts-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in conflicts management within a law firm setting.Strong understanding of legal ethics, professional responsibility rules, and AMLaw firm operations.Experience with conflicts software (e.g., Intapp, Elite, Aderant).Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.Competitive compensation up to $130,000Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with firm contributionGenerous PTO and paid holidaysFully remote work environmentJ-18808-Ljbffr
