Role Summary :
As a Brand Manager at Mallard, youll be the strategic and operational heartbeat for a portfolio of client relationships. This isnt just a client service role. Its a dynamic blend of part strategist, part project manager, and part trusted advisor. Youll serve as the key liaison between our internal team and our clients, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence, clarity, and creative impact.
From leading discovery meetings and shaping briefs to overseeing campaign rollouts, youll help bring brands to life and keep them moving forward. Youll work across disciplines including branding, social, video, digital, and more, ensuring every deliverable hits the mark and drives measurable value for the client. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, a confident leader, and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a portfolio of client relationships across industries, acting as their day-to-day point of contact and strategic guide.
- Collaborate with internal and external facing teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies tailored to client goals and budgets.
- Conduct thorough research on assigned clients to become an expert in their business and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment throughout the creative process.
- Develop detailed meeting agendas and lead regular client meetings with a focus on clear communication and strategic direction.
- Oversee production of assets across copywriting, brand identity, digital design, video, photography, email, and social media.
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, tone, and client expectations before being sent out. This includes proofreading, design quality checks, and alignment with strategic intent.
- Manage and execute organic campaigns, including building content calendars, scheduling, community engagement, and reporting.
- Prepare extensive documentation, including meeting agendas, status reports, production schedules, tracking documents, and next steps for clients.
- Support the agencys Producer in pre-production planning, ensuring all aspects are covered for successful execution.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, recommend new services based on evolving needs, and help drive account growth and retention.
- Delegate tasks to team members as needed, offering clear guidance and setting precise expectations for each project.
- Stay current on the latest marketing trends and tactics through ongoing research and learning.
- Become proficient in the StoryBrand framework and implement it across all client projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the agency.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR, etc.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a creative marketing environment or agencyExperience in managing multiple clients simultaneously with excellenceStrong background in client services, project management, and production workflowsDeep understanding of todays marketing landscape across digital, social, and traditional channelsComfortable communicating with senior-level clients and confidently guiding them toward growth through strategic insight and creative direction.Meticulous attention to detail and a high bar for producing polished, brand-aligned workHigh emotional intelligence with a commitment to empathy, grace, and collaborative problem-solvingExceptional verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with a knack for keeping complex projects on track and on timeExperience with the following a plus : Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote, Social Media Management Platforms, Asana (or other project management software), Milanote, Slack, Google Workspace, and ExcelBe willing to commute to agency office daily in Southlake, TexasBenefits :
