Job Summary : As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our vendor relationships, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This hybrid position offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute directly to our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Processing : Review, validate, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Vendor Management : Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Vendor Set-Up : Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, including the collection of necessary documentation and data entry into the accounting system.
- Payment Processing : Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Record Keeping : Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor agreements, ensuring easy access for audits and inquiries.
- Reporting : Assist in generating accounts payable reports for management review, including aging reports and payment forecasts.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on financial matters.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency within the department.
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
