The Internet Sales Director must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team and by forecasting sales and maintaining proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types. In addition, the Internet Sales Director hires, trains, and monitors team member performance; resolves customer complaints; and helps with closings when necessary. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience (in any industry), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly forecast for Chevrolet sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
• Meet with the General Manager to forecast monthly sales expenses.
• Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance.
• Establishes sales quotas and manages overall sales goals.
• Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Provides timely and accurate reports on all sales activities as needed.
• Monitors and adjusts inventory to optimize customer choice.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with local businesses and retail consumers that require commercial fleet vehicles.
• Assist's in prospecting and qualifying new fleet accounts and retail consumers.
• Build rapport with on-site professionals assisting with their Internet Sales.
• Follow up on daily CRM objectives with the current sales staff.
• Assist in closing deals if necessary.
• Ensure Internet Salespeople are informed of all new inventory and current advertising efforts, including rebates and incentives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
• Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interaction with the customers, co-workers, and vendors.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
