Quality Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Description

Aegis is seeking a candidate to join our client's organization in Summit, IL. This position is a 6 month contract to hire position. The role is on 3rd shift (11 pm-7 : 30 am). The ideal candidate as the following experience :

• 1–3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician, ideally within food manufacturing; experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing is also relevant.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework or certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory and production processes and procedures, including basic quality testing methods.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• SQE or PCQI certifications are a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments with moving mechanical parts; must be comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills for documenting results and collaborating with supervisors and production teams.
