This senior leadership position reports to the CIO and is responsible for architecting and managing the company's multi-tenant Salesforce platform—covering Sales & Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Data Cloud, B2B Commerce, CPQ, and Experience Cloud. The director oversees a team of Salesforce developers and admins, ensuring successful implementations, integrations, and daily support. This is a hybrid role - 2-3 days in office (CT or Chicago.)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce architecture solutions.
- Lead platform development, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Drive integrations with other systems and maintain data integrity.
- Create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Identify automation opportunities and lead enhancements.
- Promote agile best practices and ensure solution quality.
- Collaborate with senior IT leadership to align Salesforce strategy with business goals.
Requirements
5+ years as a Salesforce Solution / Technical Architect.Hands-on experience with complex back-office implementations.Leadership experience managing developers and admins.Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning framework, APIs.Experience with CPQ, e-commerce, data migrations, and acquisitions.Strong communication and analytical skills.Nice-to-haves
