If you are a Human Resources student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Human Resources Intern! Based in our Shakopee, Chanhassen or Eden Prairie, MN location, you will be involved in a variety of HR responsibilities with a collaborative team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Assist with the HR team in a variety of projects / tasks that will cover a broad set of HR disciplines including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition
• Participate in the onboarding of new employees.
• Opportunity to work across the HR department to gain a broad understanding of the different specialties and functions within HR
• Analyze data, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
• Support system improvements and assist in investigating, resolving and / or escalating HRIS issues

You have strong communication skills relating comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography. You are eager to learn and apply your learning to new situations. You work collaboratively, are results-oriented and have a strong customer focus.

Our compensation philosophy is simple : we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary / pay range for this role is $24.00 per hour, annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
