Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Webster, Massachusetts area. In this role, you will play a critical part in administering employee benefits, compliance, and HR processes while supporting company-wide initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the scientific instrument manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Medical Insurance Enrollment
  • Disability Enrollment / Beneficiary
  • Maintains Changes with Employees :
  • Insurance Information
  • Maintain employee files and the HR filing system
  • Update Affirmative Action Plan (Applicants, New Hires, Terminations, Promotions)
  • Maintains Changes with Employees :
  • Insurance Information
  • Ensures proper payroll deductions
  • Benefit Duties as needed
  • Processes Disability Claims for employees when needed
  • Processes FMLA for employees when needed
  • Respond to PFML requests
  • Benefit termination when applicable
  • Invoice employees on leave in timely manner
  • Yearly Medical Insurance Renewal (April)
  • Some recruiting experience
  • Employee relations

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with manufacturing industry experience considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel, with strong reporting skills. ADP WFN is a must have!
  • Knowledge of HR policies, compliance guidelines, and payroll systems. Excellent employee relations too!
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
