Production Lead

Staffmark is hiring a Production Lead in Essex, CT!

Step into a leadership role on the manufacturing floor where your mechanical expertise makes a real impact. As a Production Lead, you'll oversee machinery setup, ensure quality, and guide operators in a fast-paced environment-perfect for someone who thrives on precision and efficiency.

Pay : $21-$24 / hr

Shift : 2nd Shift | 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

• Set up presses, mills, threading machines, roller markers, and other equipment with precision.
• Perform first-article inspections alongside Quality to confirm parts meet specifications.
• Document all setups, tooling records, and maintenance logs accurately.
• Support operators by troubleshooting setup issues and providing hands-on guidance.
• Assist with cross-functional production tasks and suggest improvements for tooling efficiency.
• Conduct light machine maintenance to minimize downtime.
