Summary / Objective
As the Leader of Corporate Employee Experience, you are responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment for all employee-partners within the organization. This role involves implementing and monitoring programs and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and overall experience. You will work closely with management and other departments to ensure that employee-partner needs are met and that the company culture aligns with its values and goals. Additionally, you will lead a team of professionals dedicated to improving the employee-partner experience and fostering a sense of belonging and community within the organization.
Essential Functions
Exercises independent judgment and discretion in discharging the following duties.Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.Manage and direct the Employee Experience functions and teams.Supervise and direct Employee Experience Specialists.Capable of performing Employee Experience Specialist duties.Manages Orientation / Onboarding processes.Responsible to provide a positive Employee-Partner experience beginning with onboarding and throughout their employment.Maintains an environment of positive Employee Partner relations.Coordinates and plans Employee Partner events; Recognition / Anniversary awards; Team Building.Employee-Partner Engagement & Corporate Communications.Assists Employee-Partners through Benefits / 401(k) Open Enrollments.Provides support to department managers in their effort to manage Employee-Partners through education of Employee Experience procedures and practices.Coordinate / Conduct Employee-Partner meetings for facilitated training, policy communication, etc.Understand Buffalo Rock policies and programs (Affirmative Action, 401(k), Flexible Benefit Plan, FMLA, Disability, COBRA, EAP, workers' compensation, discipline policy, EEO, anti-harassment, attendance and leave policies, Professional Conduct, and Health Benefits).Manages administration of Family Medical Leave for eligible employees.Involvement with the local SHRM and other agencies (Chamber of Commerce, etc.).Manages Unemployment Compensation Claim preparation and coordination of unemployment hearings with Managers / Supervisors.Review, screen, and provide guidance regarding application of discipline policy; Prepare disciplinary actions; Prepare termination reviews.Works with and deals ethically and effectively with all levels within and outside the company.Oversee and manage records concerning personnel-related data (hires, transfers, performance appraisals, attendance).Oversee and manage new hire check-ins; ensure consistency with completion and monitor Employee-Partner responses in Company Performance Management Software; ensure timely follow-up.Oversee and manage the evaluation process and ensure consistency with disciplinary and other records (30-60-90-day evaluations and annual performance evaluations).Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for departure and recommend improvements to the employee experience based on data.Ensures compliance with all equal employment, non-discrimination, and non-harassment laws and policies.Performs other duties as assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; making recommendations regarding changes in status.

Required Education and Experience
EducationBachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a High School diploma or GED.
ExperienceMust have at least 2 years HR experience.
Other Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. SharePoint experience preferred.CertificationsPHR or SPHR certification must be obtained within two years of hire.
LicensesValid driver's license required.
