Role : Senior Web Designer
You’ll elevate the user experience and visual design of carta.com, shaping how founders, investors, and finance leaders interact with our digital presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end design for high‑impact areas of carta.com, from research to polished interactive experiences.
- Translate user needs and business objectives into clear, intuitive design solutions and develop a scalable design system aligned with Carta’s brand.
- Partner with web strategists, developers, Brand & Creative team, and marketers to launch user‑friendly, engaging pages that convert and inspire.
- Design interactive components (calculators, dashboards, personalization elements, data visualizations) that drive engagement.
- Design AI‑integrated web experiences that combine Carta’s proprietary data with modern interaction models.
- Conduct UX reviews and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
- Stay ahead of design and UX trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve Carta’s digital presence.
Qualifications
6‑8+ years of professional experience in web and UX design, ideally for SaaS, fintech, or B2B companies.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX flows, responsive design, and interactive web experiences.Strong design fundamentals with exceptional taste levels.Deep experience building and maintaining design systems across web properties.Expert in Figma with a solid understanding of front‑end capabilities and limitations.Strong collaboration skills; able to partner with developers, strategists, creatives, marketers, and executives.Experience designing for accessibility, scalability, and performance.Strong communication skills; able to articulate and present design rationale and defend decisions.Nice to Have
Experience with data visualization and interactive tools.Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and conversion optimization.Background in working with distributed, global teams.Why Join Carta

Carta’s compensation package includes a market‑competitive salary, equity for all full‑time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commission plans.
San Francisco, CA : $161,500 – $190,000 (base salary).
