Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial programmer.  Someone driven ; go getter ; who eventually wants to be their own boss
  • Set up and writes CNC programs for Okuma & Hurco CNC Mills and turning centers
  • Programming extremely close tolerance parts
  • Focused on plastic and alloy machining
  • Create strategies for machining operations & designate the proper tooling to ensure quality & cost effective delivery
  • Study and interpret drawings and specs to coordinate set up
  • Meet & improve quality standards to reduce rework and non conformance

Qualifications

  • Ability to use gages & measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience creating CNC programs
  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes and machining centers
  • Must be well versed in programming and utilizing Solidworks
  • Read and interpret dimensional drawings, tolerances
  • Capable of verifying own work with micrometers and calipers
  • Motivated, Independent, Entrepreneurial Spirit
