Job Summary :

The Southwest Healthcare Regional office in Temecula, CA is seeking an on-site Full-Time Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via the payroll system for multiple facilities across the Region. Duties include but are not limited to :

• Processes bi-weekly payroll with a high accuracy rate according to schedule. Thoroughly understands the Time and Attendance system, as well as the Payroll system.
• Processes special and termination checks when required and ensures that they are ready by the prescribed deadline and in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Process Payroll corrections including, but not limited to incorrect or missed swipes, badge issues, direct deposit rejections, lost checks and stop pays are processed by payroll.
• Reviewing the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with the government regulations.
• Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks and payroll information.
• Responsible for setting up and managing agency garnishments according to the orders received.
• Audits payroll and tax information as needed.
