Job Description

You will join our Advanced Manufacturing department.

As our new Controls & Automation Engineer you will be part of a team that supports all aspects of control system lifecycles across the diverse industries and systems of our varied clients.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be :

• Robot programming : Develop robot simulations. Use teach pendant to program and jog the robot.
• PLC programming : Write original, well-structured code and make changes to existing code. PLC program code will interface with robot controllers, vendor PLC's, and SCADA.
• HMI programming : Create visualization screens for local HMI including machine control and alarming.
• Control Systems design : Contribute to hands-on, detailed design efforts on assigned projects from initial information gathering through final implementation. Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in design reviews. Verify system performance requirements are met.
• Architecture configuration : Configure industrial Ethernet networks.
• Commissioning and site work : Lead the start-up, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of equipment both locally and at customer sites.
• Documentation : Contribute to and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Generate process control narratives and contribute to equipment Operation & Maintenance manuals.
