Field Service Engineer-Mechanical

Field Service Technician - Mechanical

Pay : $30-$35 / hr

50-70% Travel

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at customer facilities.
• Work with suppliers and customers to resolve service requirements.
• Provide recommendations for the repair or replacement of parts.
• Complete detailed service and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Follow all customer plant and safety regulations.
• Support warranty and non-warranty claims and follow up on issue resolution.
• Be available for on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Assist other department staff and take on temporary or permanent assignments as needed.

Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical training preferred.

3-6 years of hands-on mechanical / electrical experience.

Proficiency with hand tools, meters, gauges, and devices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical / mechanical drawings and manuals.

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
