Scholarship Support Specialist
The University of Iowa Office of Student Financial Aid is excited to hire a dedicated Scholarship Support Specialist (100% appointment). In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting students through the financial aid process by coordinating state aid and graduate / professional aid programs including testing, awarding, revisions, and program review. You'll also contribute to the integrity and improvement of our operations by supporting compliance and reporting functions, such as monitoring state aid in MAUI, preparing year-end reports for the Bureau of Iowa College Aid, and reviewing data for accuracy and process enhancements. This position also offers the opportunity to :
Assist with student eligibility requests from Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Attend college visit and orientation days for the professional colleges
Assist with manually building budgets and awarding graduate and professional programs

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience working in a higher education, post?secondary academic setting or in another sector dealing with budgeting, counseling, and / or education, typically six months to one year.
Some occasional admissions events may require travel.

o Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Work Modality : This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location. Work arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process and are subject to change for training, programming, peak periods, and performance.
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range : $42,500-commensurate, with the top of the range reserved for exceptionally qualified applicants. This position includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
