Support Specialist, Federal, Private, & Campus-Based Aid
The University of Iowa Office of Student Financial Aid is excited to hire a dedicated Support Specialist, Federal, Private, & Campus-Based Aid (100% appointment). Are you detail-oriented and motivated by helping students navigate the financial aid process? In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accuracy and compliance across a wide range of programs from federal verification and appeals to grants, loans, and student employment. You'll work closely with multiple teams within the Office of Student Financial Aid, interpreting policies, supporting funds management, and providing clear guidance to students and families.

Work Modality : This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location. Work arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process and are subject to change for training, programming, peak periods, and performance.
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range : $42,500 - Commensurate, with the top of the range reserved for exceptionally qualified applicants. This position includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
