King County Department of Public Defense (DPD) is hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist I to provide general clerical support which includes providing reception duties, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and typing and / or word-processing documents within the Director's Office. The Administrative Specialist I can switch gears at a moment's notice, will work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and work under the direction of the Operations Manager. DPD is looking to fill this position as a Term-Limited Temporary position or Special Duty Assignment.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST :
WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION :
This is an in-person position, reporting to the Director's Office located at Dexter Horton Building, 710 Second Avenue, Seattle.
The typical workweek is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, this salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
