Job Description

The Business Systems / IT Specialist is responsible for supporting desktop and infrastructure technologies, acting as a liaison between division staff and IT groups. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will support office desktop, production floor, and infrastructure software and hardware, both independently and at the direction of the corporate IT group. This person is responsible for setting up and troubleshooting equipment for new and existing users, and as directed by the corporate IT group. This person will also conduct business systems transactions and assist with error corrections when needed.

Pay Range : $26.00 - $31.25 per hour

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology or other business-related field or progress toward a degree
• 2+ years of Information Technology experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• 1+ years of basic business courses or experience
• Knowledge of business systems software, process procedures, and document flow
• Skilled at Microsoft Office applications with an aptitude for MIS systems and technologies
• Knowledge of installation and trouble-shooting issues with computer hardware equipment (printers, desktop PCs, communication devices and network cables)
• Knowledge of inventory transactions or other business transactions preferred.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to match business needs with available technology
