What it's about

Partners Group's Product Management team is the hub of a variety of activities throughout the lifecycle of investment programs : driving timely and seamless launches, monitoring and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction amongst clients and operational teams and taking the lead during restructurings and winddowns.

Our Americas Product Management team is based in our Denver Headquarters and is responsible for a wide range of investment programs ranging from traditional limited partnerships to semi-liquid retail offerings and separate account mandates.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team in Denver as a Senior Product Manager. We expect this person to be an experienced subject matter expert who drives the lifecycle management of an assigned product portfolio and reviews the output of less experienced team members.

Responsibilities :

  • Taking full ownership of the lifecycle of assigned products
  • Ensuring timely and seamless launch of products, restructurings and winddowns in close collaboration with sales, structuring, operational teams and service providers
  • Leading team-relevant projects and contributing to business unit-relevant projects
  • Having a clear understanding of private markets, product structures as well as processes, roles, systems and responsibilities across the firm
  • Collaborating with and having exposure to Team Leaders across the firm to solve operational challenges
  • Proactively interacting with internal and external stakeholders to assess satisfaction, identify issues and independently implement robust resolution
  • Reviewing output of team members and training less experienced Product Managers, delivering targeted education sessions for the wider team
  • Confidently liaising with client counterparts to understand their operational needs, explaining our capabilities and implementing solutions.

What we expect :

  • University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance or economics
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or similar
  • Profound knowledge of the financial services industry; experience in private equity or another private markets asset class is a plus
  • Knowhow in the design, implementation and the operational set-up of innovative product and investment structures is a plus
  • A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete complex operating tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
  • Ability and desire to train, coach, and mentor junior team members
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with a desire to learn and succeed
  • Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Effective and reliable team player

Base pay range for this role is $106,000 130,000 and a performance-based bonus and equity are additional parts of the total compensation package.
