About This Role
Carrier’s Commercial HVAC service business is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to function as the focal for field start-up and warranty transformation projects.
The successful candidate will identify and lead projects and processes resulting in a step change in performance, customer satisfaction and financial results for the service team.
The candidate will be able to think strategically, create and execute project plans, track results and support execution when needed.

Key Responsibilities :
- Function as the process focal for product start-up and warranty in the CHVAC Americas service network
- Assess the start-up process, identify improvements needed to streamline and implement improvements (incl., digital connectivity at start-up), and collaborate with business process counterparts on standard work
- Assess for strategic impact of start-up including, downstream dependencies (ex., end-user data needed for SA conversion)
- Develop project plan to expand CCS start-up volume, incl., distributor relationships, target product segments, target pricing, CCS resources to support
- Develop project plan to implement profitable pricing for start-ups, including assessment of typical cost by product type, establish target margin and implement across the service business
- Identify potential digital solutions and work closely with digital partners to implement
- Assess field service warranty history to identify cost improvement opportunities, incl., field over-investment, factory reimbursement increases needed
- Perform RRCA on cost of poor quality assess for trends and reduction opportunities
- Assess and optimize extended warranty pricing
Required Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC field service
- 5+ years of experience assessing complex business issue & drive improvements
- 5+ years of experience with start-up and warranty processes start-up and warranty processes
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors’ degree in operations, business, finance, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and drive projects
- Capability to both develop strategies and drive tactical execution
- Effective analytical skills
