A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR CHANNEL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

In this Senior Channel Sales role, you help drive sales for our company's growing product offerings through strategic relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and other strategic partners.

Your main responsibilities will include leveraging your many industry relationships to develop a strong and productive referral and reseller channel for Atlantech's business Internet, Voice, and Private Data solutions.

You will also be regularly networking with new potential partners to develop lasting relationships.

You have a knack for developing solid relationships with MSPs, VARs, IT consultants, IT managers and decision makers in your target prospects.

In addition, you will establish close relationships with Microsoft authorized channel partners to introduce Atlantech as the preferred provider for MS Teams Operator Connect.

You schedule meetings with prospective partners and deliver compelling and detailed proposals. While actively managing your channel partners, you ensure that they are making the best use of all Atlantech's most current service offerings.

Using your excellent communication skills, you maintain contact with reseller and referral partners to continually uncover new opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SENIOR CHANNEL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Foster strong relationships with channel partners, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Microsoft authorized resellers, IT consultants and systems integrators to drive new business.

Manage and perform all activities related to selling technology products and services through channels partners.

Regularly communicate with potential partners and existing partners to keep them informed about new Atlantech products and services.

Regularly attend networking events and engage with industry groups to develop partnerships.

Build long-term relationships with prospective partners for future business opportunities.

Research industry trends, competition, and new markets to develop sales strategies.

Work alongside Atlantech's Director of Sales to achieve sales targets and drive performance.

Take ownership of overall performance, ensuring the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volumes and margin.

Assist internal departments with onboarding new partners and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.

REQUIREMENTS :

Proven work experience in a recent senior level Channel Sales role for a telecommunications or technology service provider.

Candidates who already have strong relationships with regional MSPs, VARs, IT consultants, and IT managers are highly preferred.

This is particularly true for those with established connections to Microsoft authorized channel partners, as they can effectively position Atlantech as the preferred provider for MS Teams Operator Connect.

Senior sales level experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.

Track record of achieving sales quotas.

Experience with Salesforce.

Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Teams, and O365.

Understanding of sales performance metrics.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to deliver engaging presentations.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is highly preferred.

Very recent experience working with MSPs and IT consultants in the Washington, D.C market is a MUST!
